Vicente Lazen is partner at RegFin. He has held the position of Vice Chairman of Supervision at the Chilean Pension System Regulatory Authority. Previously, he has held different responsibilities in the Superintendency of Securities and Insurance of Chiles, including Head of Oversight and Regulation of Financial Infrastructures, Head of International Affairs and Senior Economist at the Research Division.In the private sector he has worked at Bansander AFP.

He has been a member of the Financial Market Infrastructure Committee of the BIS , participating in the drafting of the Principles for Infrastructures of the Financial Market CPSS-IOSCO in 2012. He has been a professor of finance and microeconomics at the University of Chile.

He is a member of several investment funds Oversight Committees in Chile.

He has developed consultancies for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Andean Development Corporation (CAF); the Superintendency of Securities of the Dominican Republic; PwC; the Bank of Chile; the Ministry of Finance of Colombia, among others.

He is an Economist from the University of Chile and an MBA from the University of Texas and CFA (Level I).
